Rick Trevino is a the first Mexican American Country singer I have come across since Freddy Fender. Although he had a Spanish album before his self titled album, this self-titled album was the first time I heard him, and I've love his music ever since!! The best track of this album is "She Can't Say I Didn't Cry" which talks about how he hurt the woman he loves and how awful it was to break up with her. I can relate to the the song because it sounded a lot like my divorce. It was hard to let go, but even though he hurt me, I did see him cry.
