"The Nature Of The Beast" is the latest (2018) release by guitarist Chris Impellitteri. The band Impelliteri started off its career with some very good releases. One of their best is "Stand In Line" which has an all star lineup. Another very good album is "Screaming Symphony". After that, the creativity department crashed and never recovered. I have always looked forward to their releases but all disappoint. This latest album is a complete disappointment. They sound like an amateur group trying to emulate some hard metal band. Their last 5 releases don't have one memorable song. What a shame with such a talented musician. Chris Impellitteri was one of the better neoclassical guitarists after Yngwie Malmsteen. But as it also happened with Malmsteen nowadays, neither have released any worthwhile material. Check out the albums mentioned as well as "Victim Of The System". Those are recommended.
