As a followup to their second album, "The Raw and the Cooked", Fine Young Cannibals released a remix album. It was a toxic decision. They achieved massive success with hits like "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing", and fans wanted to know what was next. But instead, they were served what came last, only with more reverb. This came at a time when popular music was changing pretty drastically, and they might have been able to cash in with something new. But nobody wanted a club mix of last year's his with something new on the horizon.
As an album outside of this context, it is still awful. This wasn't good then, and it didn't hold up well even to those standards. The group was done after this, and I can't see above today wanting more after hearing this mess. Get "The Raw and the Cooked" if you are feeling nostalgic, avoid this.
