Michael Franks is one of the best songwriters/artists in the business. After his 1975 debut on Warner Brothers "Art Of Tea", he has released countless of amazingly pleasant CD's; usually enlisting the best jazz players & producers. Think of him as the jazz answer to James Taylor. "Time Together" is another great CD that just keeps pleasing, listen after listen. "Mice" hit me right away with it's lyrical honest message of gratefulness. Pianist Charles Blenzig & guitarist Chuck Loeb really shines on this CD. "Now That The Summer Is Here" & "I'd Rather Be Happy Than Right" are simply outstanding. Music to keep you in a good mood, with Michael Franks you can't go wrong! Buy it!!
