Toto is a great California-based band that was formed by and out of session/studio work. "Turn Back" is their excellent 3rd LP, originally released in 1981. Apparently, the band nearly lost their recording contract with CBS records during time...which is hard to believe considering the strength of ths CD and their previous one "Hydra". Songs like "Goodbye Elenore", "If It's The Last Night" and "Gift With A Golden Gun" all could have been monster hits, had CBS did their job & promoted them properly. I believe this LP (and "Hydra")is sadly overlooked and some of their best work. the title track "Turn Back" is another smoking tune. All and all, a must for 1970's & 1980's rock fans!
