”Foghat” is the band’s debut LP, produced by Welsh guitar legend Dave Edmunds. Ex-Savoy Brown members Lonesome Dave Peverett, Tony Stevens and Roger Earl make up ¾ of the band, adding ex- Black Cat Bones slide guitarist Rod Price. The results are fantastic & rocking! Lonesome Dave sets the tone with his signature lead vocal & delivery. Willie Dixon’s “I Just Wanna Make Love To You” starts out the blues rockin’ party, then going into the group written “Trouble Trouble”. “A Hole To Hide In” is my favorite track here. All & all, a smoking debut LP. A much more commercially appealing Savoy Bown. Buy it!!
