Sal Abruscato and Johnny Kelly both used to play in the band Type O Negative at separate times as drummers. This band is fronted by Sal, who has switched to Vocals and Guitar, while Johnny mans the drums. It's no coincidence that A Pale Horse Named Death sounds like Type O Negative's ghost. Doom rock with a tongue and cheek approach to some of the lyrics, while having a slant for drugs, death, and destruction. If you like Type O Negative, I highly recommend this band. A great album with awesome songs like "As Black as My Heart" and "Die Alone." Definitely recommended!
