Tracks
This is a terrific soundtrack. I saw the film and loved it. I bought the album here about a month ago. I typically will just play it and leave it on repeat.
All of the songs are great. The only song I don't love is Cher's power ballad, "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me". It's a bit over-the- top, so that one I tend to skip. I do like Cher's other song, "Welcome to Burlesque" as it brings back the opening scenes of the movie.
My favorite songs on the album are: "Guy That Takes His Time" (a cute traditional burlesque song), "Express" (a more modern dance hit), "Bound to You" (Christina's ballad) and "Show Me How You Burlesque" (the final musical number in the film).
The soundtrack is a great mix of songs with a vintage burlesque style and modern dance-pop. It's a good showcase of Christina Aguilera's vocal talent.
I highly recommend this album.
