2008's "Conquest" while lacking some of the energy and freshness of The White Stripes earlier work still manages to hit the right notes in all the right spots. The title track is signature Jack White exploring alternative music styles while some how managing to remain in his garage. Remaining tracks continue the theme bending from country to rock to punk but staying uniquely White Stripes as only they can do.
