I was a fan of Eddie Rabbit as an adolescent and probably one of the reasons I love country music today. I Love A Rainy Night is probably Eddie's signature song, but I think I prefer "Suspicions" more and I think Tim McGraw would agree, since he did a re-make. It still is a good song but I prefer EDDIE'S version.
I think he changed the way country music sounded, with a rock feel to it. When I thought of country songs before, I think crying in your beer because your wife cheated on you. I Love A Rainy Night changed all of that. Also, the track "Every Which Way But Loose" was also the title of the movie with the same name featuring Clint Eastwood. This song was featured in the movie. Check the album out and see for yourself.
