Deftonesby Deftones

This is my personal favorite album by the Deftones. I feel that this album was right at the creative peak of the Deftones overall creative vision. I would say this album almost seems like it has a same overall vibe as "Mezzanine" by Massive Attack. It is dark but also exciting and slightly mysterious and has some pent up rage that was all to eager to be released. This is defiantly a night time kind of album and those are of course the best kind of albums. Even though I really don't listen to metal as much as I used to, the Deftones have always resonated with me and this album really captures everything that I liked about them as a teenager and all the things I look for in my music listening in my life now.

I have always been a metal fan. i have just recently purchased the self titled album "deftones" and have found it to be one of the best cd's in a long search for stupid meaningless poppy junk. this cd will blow your mind i can listin to this cd over and over, never getting sick of the genious that is the deftones.
