I used to use movie soundtracks to discover new music, that's how I found Bic Runga. Two of her songs are featured in the American Pie soundtrack. One being Good Morning Baby, featuring Dan Wilson from the Semisonic, and the other, Sway, featured in this album, Drive. This album is a collection of heartfelt songs that speak from various feelings of melancholy, anger and the need to love. Her beautiful, melodic voice goes hand in hand with the folky accords and the sometimes dark tunes going through them.
