Still a great Album to this day. Whilst Riptide is truly one of Palmers greatest Album, Heavy Nova is a great contemporary album with a diverse set list that is a great listen. With the chart topper Simply Irresistible being of the same formula as Addicted to Love there are some great tracks on this Album...and some not so great.
Moody track "Early in the morning" is a quintessential 80's adult contemporary sexy thumper that is an apt. Robert Palmer track. "She makes my day" is a wonderful and wistful song. As a late 80's pop/rock album, this is one of my favorites.
