This great self titled album is actually Humble Pie's 3rd LP release. Originally, this LP came out on A&M Records; after their first 2 Immediate LP's "As Safe As Yesterday" & "Town And Country". With this LP, the British band takes it up a notch by delivering a wide variety of styles. Peter Frampton's "Earth And Water Song" and Greg Ridley's "Sucking On The Sweet Vine" are eliquently beautiful. Steve Marriott's "Red Light Mama Red Hot" and Steve's take on Willie Dixon's "I'm Ready" really rock out! Each singer takes a verse in "One Eyed Trouser Snake Rhumba" and "Live With Me" that really shows how equal and democratic the band is. There are not many rock bands as diverse as Humble Pie. Buy it!!
