To me this album sounds like a mixture between Elliot Smith and Steely Dan. And I mean that in the best way possible because I love both of those artists and this album is really starting to grow on me the more I listen to it. I like that it is hard to pin down one specific sound that the album embodies. There is a lot of sonic variety here but none of it is unrelated to the songs around it. And I like the overall vibe of the album.
My favorite track at the moment is probably Opposite house. It's a good song and it walks the mine between indie rock and dream pop which is a really cool place to be sonicly.
