My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasyby Kanye West

Normally i don’t hear that much hiphop and rap music. But i really like Kanye West and especially this album. So many outstanding songs and all so well produced. What i also like is that rap music usually has so many references to other music or politic. I mean he takes a sample from Bon Iver’s fantastic Woods as a start on Lost In The World and use it in his own way. And Dark Fantasay where Nicki Minaj talks at first and is reading up from an old fairytale. And i usually hate her. It’s just so amazing. Blame Game is also one of my Favorites where he makes John Legend to talk for almost 3 minutes about that his girlfriend was cheating on him and ends up being thankful in a way. Also i like the song Monster where Nicki Minaj again is over and really is doing a fantastic job but in the end where Rick Ross (or at least that’s who i think it is) sings (in a way) simply sounds amazing. I think this album is really newthinking and he thinks in a whole other way than so many other rappers don’t. He truly is a genius in making music.

Really, I think the album cover is pretty twisted for a popular artist to be putting out there. Other than that, I think most of the songs are pretty decent. My favorite would probably be "Power", but I'd have to say that's all. It's pretty much for older ears, but I think it's fun, catchy, and great to listen to as pump-up songs, or just chilling music. I wish some of his music was less explicit, but we can't change that, so this album is okay for him.

Complex, artistic, chill album. This album is kind of different from the rest of Kanye's albums. It has a lot of different musical and written talent. The songs are more laid back than the rest of his albums.
