"Our Favorite Shop" (Deluxe Edition) is a masterpiece release by Style Council's guitarist/vocalist Paul Weller & keyboardist Mick Talbot. This is the band’s 2nd release. Tracks that are standouts are disc one’s "The Lodgers", “With Everything To Lose” and disc two’s “The Piccadilly Trail” & “The Whole Point Of No Return”. The music is very unique, mixing bossa nova styles with R&B grooves. At the end of disc 2, the music tends to lean more toward ‘techno’ with different mixes and such. The Style Council is a band that really broke a lot of ground in the UK, but not so much in the U.S. (their loss!!) All and all, this is a great package. Buy it!!
