Tracks
A collection of many excellent songs and a few which aren't so good.
Marina "Diamandis" is an incredible singer and although many of her songs are a bit too "pop" for me I enjoy most of her music. I first heard "Hollywood", brilliantly written and sung with a real message about the society we grow up in. From there I went on to hear "Mowgli's Road", a catchy tune which tells a story. Then came "I Am Not A Robot", a heart breaking song about opening up, followed by "Obsessions", about a bad breakup. Not to mention the slightly annoying but addictive "Oh No!" about celebrities rising to fame.
Marina's songs are all very deep and meaningful in message and talk about things we can all relate to as well as problems our society and culture face. But the songs and tunes themselves are a bit too catchy, repetitive and annoying and the "pop" style annoys me a little.
