Absolutely brilliant album; love it. Great mixture of hard rock and much softer rock with excellent vocals and on some tracks, strings. 'Fall Apart' is such a great song, its slow and melodic with a string orchestra backing.
'Take The Bullets Away' is a completely different track, it's screamo-metal with a female voice (Lacy Sturm from Flyleaf) accompaniment which I absolutely love. Their two voices fit so well together and you can really feel the passion of the vocalists.
'Taking Life' is yet another excellent track that has good progression and some brilliant lyrics in the bridge; 'My eyes are open and my path is straight, you move the mountains so there's nothing in my way, your love is boundless and forever stays the same'. It's so refreshing to have lyrics like this in a christian hard rock song, I would love to hear it acoustic.
Overall this album really is excellent. Anyone who likes Disciple, Pillar, Kutless, Seventh Day Slumber etc will love it and I promise you that after just a few times through; it will be your new favorite album.
