A Good Feelin' To Knowby Poco

Poco is a super talented and pioneering California band. Jim Messina & Richie Furay initially formed the band out of the ashes of the broken- up Buffalo Springfield. Messina resigned gracefully after the release of their excellent live LP "Deliverin" and was replaced by Illinois Speed Press guitarist/vocalist Paul Cotton. "A Good Feeling To Know" is a masterpiece on all accounts, but the record company somehow blew it. Furay's title track should have been the song that put Poco in the major leagues, but it didn't. Bassist Timothy B Schmit's "I Can See Everything" is outstanding and beautiful! Cotton's "Ride The Country" is another masterpiece. This LP is not their best, but certainly worth buying!! The vocals & harmonies alone are worth it!!
