Bicep sounds like an edm version of something off a deftones record if thwy collaborated with smashing pumpkins. Especially when he was more whispering than singing during the verses. It gave me a simmilar vibe to change in thw house of flies. And the chorus sounded like something from the Simease Dream album by smashing pumpkins. That aside I really like the power that comes across in the song. It is so minimalist and yet so loud. The synths were very heavy in this song and they really make thw track high energy despite the fact that the tempo is actually not that fast. But the song being down tempo is actually a great thing because it adds to how dark and agitated feel of the song. This song manages to sound bitter and angry without being overbearing as well. And I mean that in a good way. This also makes me think of some material from Nine Inch Nails. Overall, this has some strong late 90's musical influences while also pulling from thw synth minimalism of the modern music scene. TR/ST is come together on this track with some great combinations of ideas and sounds which resulted in a genius piece of music and even an unintentional social commentary which only comes as an added bonus.
