Billion dollar Babies was the big break thru album that gave them three top 40singles. No More Mr. Nice guy being the biggest. Elected and Hello Hurray, were the other two singles, Schools Out gave him a top 40 song in 1972 but the album wasn't as strong as this album was. Bob Ezrin producer took the band to a different level great tight playing and merging with Alice's vocals and song writing. This album was with the original line-up, who I personally think was the best the 70's had to offer. There are some highlights like- Generation Landslide- is a great story of life in the fast lane of the time. The title track is a fast & furious rocker with special guest Donovan. I love the Dead -will make his stage show even more menacing with his necrophilia song, and Unfinished Sweet with St. Vitus dancing on his molars and a scary sounding dentist drill, this a fun tune. This is Classic Alice Cooper and Band , before going solo .Deluxe Edtion has the live set of the 1973 tour plus session out takes. This was the 70's classic rock was at its best and the Alice Cooper Band was at the top.
