The more I listen to this album, the more I realize that this was my favorite album that came out last year. I have played it more than anything else that came out in 2017 and the more I listen to it, the more I really feel like it is a genius album. This album I ahead of the curve in the indie music scene right now. I suspect that this will be a point of inspiration for alot of up and coming artists. And Toro showed himself to be an artists of even more flavors than he had been known for before.
I also wanna mention that this album is his most clear and high fidelity in Toro's discography. The production is his best to date and it continues the journey that anything in return started.
I also just really love the album cover and I don't think there is any way you can't find this album and the cover to be freaking amazing.

This album definitly sounds like a journey into the 80's. Everything about this album sounds like radio pop with a brooding undertone that makes it feel surreal yet intimate. This album makes me feel like I am part of Toro's life and feeling what he is going through. This album is also generally downtempo which makes it more personable for me because it's not trying to be something it's not. And this is something I often find to be refreshing about Toro's music.
My favorite tracks on this album have to be "no show", "windows", and "you and i".honestly, this album inspires me to create and be real about who I am. And to me that means everything.
