"Celebrate Me Home" is singer/songwriter Kenny Loggins' 1st solo project since the split of the highly successful duo of Loggins & Messina. Besides collaborating with other songwriters on "Celebrate Me Home", he found a great fit with producer/keyboardist Bob James & Phil Ramone. This CD is 'no filler'; every track a pure gem that strays into the jazzy pop realm. "I Believe In Love" (co-written with hall-of-fame songwriters Alan & Merilyn Bergman) should have been the big smash hit here, yet never was released as such. "Enter My Dream" is an excellent song about a bunch of songwriters writing one song together. "If You Be Wise" is a collaboration with the legendary Jimmy Webb and the results are fabulous! A great, great start of a successful solo career! Buy It!!
