I will admit that I love the new Misfits sound it is tighter and maybe more metal than punk. Ever since Glenn Danzig left the sound has turned a bit, the playing is tighter and more uniformed, Which I know it isn't punk. The devils rain is a great metal tune and Science fiction double feature from (The Rocky Horror Picture Show) is great and its fun , that's the way they started out as a Monster movie fan punk band , who couldn't play as well in the early years , but the have aged well and I feel as though they have come of age. This is a live album and it is raw the way it should be.
