For All We Knowby NAO

Immediately when turning on this 18 track sonic masterpiece by rising East London native NAO, the listener is instantly swooned by her smooth yet subtle vocals. The intro track (Like Velvet) is a perfect description of the song, though it isn't long until the listener is flung into the seductive, yet upbeat and funky track (Get To Know Ya). It is clear that NAO has a firm grasp on different musical cultures. She seamlessly binds and blends multiple genres of music, keeping everything safely nested in a modern electronic atmosphere. The production on this album is top notch, with a slew of highly capable producers and features. Some of these features include musical compositions by LOXE, Jungle, GRADES, STINT, and Royce Wood Junior. The single from this album is entitled (Bad Blood) which is a groovy, spacious and heavy pop smash. It's attitude is wildly attractive and addicting to listen to. The hook is contagious, and the warmth of the sonic texture is one to take note on. Personally, my favorite tracks off this album are (Get To Know Ya), (Bad Blood), and (Girlfriend). I highly recommend this album to anyone who is intrigued by future sounds and R&B. So sit back and zone into NAO's 54 minute R&B soul project (For All We Know) and pass along the hotness! ****
