Lady Antebellum are back with another offering of their county/rock mix. This album is perfectly timed to ride the wave of success of 'Nashville'. It is good too- harmonic, melodic and well paced with a vocal mix that is at once inspiring and soothing. This music requires attention; it is complex enough to hold the moment but simple enough to not require conscious thought. Tracks like 'Get to me' and 'Goodbye town' contrast with 'It ain't pretty' and the beautiful 'Golden'.This is probably the best release that Lady Antebellum have produced since they started out in 2006 and this album really does confirm them as a very capable and accomplished set up who demonstrate their maturity and mastery of a currently very popular genre. If you like country music this is definitely for you. If you don't like country music then be brave and give this a try because it might well change your mind...
