On "Obsidian" Baths creates a more fully realized of his debut "Cerulean". He blends the experimentation and pop sensibilities perfectly in a way that the album is easy to listen to but still extremely interesting. The sounds he creates are beautiful. Baths makes a strong argument that beautiful music can be create on a computer with many effects, but he still keeps in somewhat natural with great vocals.
