Song Machine improves upon the groundwork laid by Humanz, exploring new sounds while still retaining a sense of self. If Humanz was an experiment, Song Machine is the resulting success. Most of this album is made up of instant hits or songs that grow on you. It dips at a few points, but more than makes up for it with songs that rival Gorillaz's classic hits. A fun album and a must have.
