I found this album after hearing of Kristen becoming the new lead singer for Flyleaf. I honestly have to say that I love Flyleaf, and was very sad to see Lacey go (though very understandable with wanting to be a dedicated mother). However, after hearing this album to get a glimpse of what the new voice will sound like, I could not believe how quickly and uncontrollably I became linked to this album. The songwriting and execution was exquisite, and it actually made me more sad that this band didn't survive longer than I was upset about Lacey leaving Flyleaf.
"Goodbye My Love" quickly became my life-anthem for 3 months as I had just gone through a breakup after a marriage of 6-years, and "Loving Ghosts" was the perfect accompaniment song to that. "Satisfy" is a wonderful song about finding contentment in life, and the rest of the album flows beautifully to Kristen's voice and light-hearted pop-rock sounds.
Overall an emphatic A+ on this release. Too bad there weren't any more releases after this one...
