Disk #1
Disk #2
Also by Twisted Sister
"Stay Hungry (25th Anniversary Edition)" is a 2 disc collection. The first disc is just the original "Stay Hungry" CD from the 1980's. There aren't any surprises on this disc. If you liked the original CD, you will of course like this one. The second disc is what makes this special.
On the second CD you get early demo's of several of the songs from the first CD. Five of the songs are early demos:
"We're Not Gonna Take It"
"S.M.F."
"Burn In Hell"
"The Price"
"Stay Hungry"
These are all great songs to begin with, so to have the early demo of each of those songs is a great bonus. The other twelve songs on the second CD are songs you're not likely to find elsewhere since they are demos of songs from the time of the original CD along with one new song, "30" and a radio spot "KMET." The radio spot uses the music from "S.M.F." Included here, you will also find a hidden track, which proves itself to be funny when listened to.
The ten demos from the original time period are all great. I really enjoy "Death From Above." I just find it has great lyrics and terrific music to go along with it.
And then the greatness doesn't stop there. Twisted Sister keeps up the great lyrics and music throughout the rest of the demos. "Prime Motivator," "This One's For You," "Call My Name," and "Pay The Price" are among my favorites of this group of demos.
You just can't go wrong getting this CD collection. If you already own the original CD, you need to get the second CD. If you don't own the original, pick up both CD's. This is an excellent addition to your library. I don't tire of listening to this CD set. It is a Five Star plus rating. Too bad we had to wait twenty five years for the second CD. It was certainly worth the wait.
