Nine Inch Nails’ The Fragile released 5 years after The Downward Spiral and also took 2 years to record, goes deeper into the mind of Trent Reznor, who I believe to be a musical genius and great at getting his emotions into lyrics, doesn’t disappoint in this 2 cd set of songs. For me, I think he has combined the sounds of Pretty Hate Machine and The Downward Spiral together and then also adding more to this album. From start to finish this has big sounds, big lyrics and the genius of the man continues. The thing that sets Reznor apart in my opinion is his that he always tries something different but also the main thing is when he writes the songs lyrics, there is no one better at letting you know how he feels about everything and that is what makes Reznor. Brilliant.
