In my opinion, this is the best album that the band has released to date. This album is incredibly relaxing and mellow. What makes this album great it that it is consistently relaxing and it has a clearly defined goal that can be heard in every track on the album. The band knew what vibe they were going for and they held on to it throughout the whole album. This album also shows that the members of Yo La Tengo are very versatile in their songwriting as this is one of many examples of how the band works with a wide range of styles throughout their discography. However, this is the best overall album from begging to end because it has a single musical identity.
