I just discovered this artist the other day, and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised! The music he makes is very unique, yet reminiscent of other artists as well. For example. "Past Lives" sounds a lot like a Lorde song, so much so, I thought she had released a new single, but no, this is BORNES, and it's a guy. I like the electric-pop sound his songs have, and I feel like he has found a way to capture that laid-back rock sound that is the perfect balance between relaxing and aggressive. It won't put you to sleep, but it won't make you want to hit something, it's just good dancing or driving music.

My favorites are honestly all of them, but if I had to pick a couple, I'd say my absolute favorites are: "Electric Love" and "Past Lives"

I know he will be releasing a full length album soon, and I am excited to hear what a full album from Borns will sound like as far as the variety and tone of all the songs. The music industry needs more unique artists like Borns to breathe life into it. I feel like it's become overrun with poor quality music with meaningless lyrical filler that people put out simply for monetary gain, so it's nice to see someone infuse some interesting melodies and meanings into music. I wish the best for this young artist, and hope that he keeps the thing that has made this first sample of his music so good! Great buy!
