The song itself is better than most pop songs. The beat is a Bhangra beat. This is different to most pop songs as they don't usually express other cultures. The song is nice to dance to .

Now the lyrics are pretty bad and unfortunately not written by Selena Gomez. The lyrics have no meaning.
Selena's voice is auto tuned and average. She's not the best singer so that kind of let's the songs down a bit.

I decided to give Selena Gomez, and Pop in general, a chance fairly recently. I was so blown away by how generic Come & Get It sounded. To my expertly attuned ears, this song sounded like any other Pop song out here on the market. It is fast paced, the vocals are steadily auto-tuned, and the general mood of the song is so consistently energetic and happy, that it really didn't move you much. Thank God we have previews of this music, or I may have put myself down a bit by purchasing this below-average piece. Get this song if you like Selena Gomez, because it seems to be that only her fans like ANY songs of hers.

Selena is an average singer and her average singing job some allows for next to none emotion. If you liked Selena's other work, then you probably like this song along with every pop song on the planet, because this sounds exactly like the rest.
