Keaton Henson has a habit of making music that sounds less like any guitar or vocals that it may be comprised of, but more like he managed to record pure emotion. It is like he opened up a window to his heart. This is mostly due to the fact that he started to make the music just to cope with the heartbreak he had suffered. These songs were never meant for mass consumption. All of these songs will put you in a morose mood, but never dismiss music just because it makes you feel. I highly recommend "Dear" and the rest of Mr. Henson's work. He encapsulates the feelings of heartbreak and loss better than I have ever heart.
