Delicious guitar pop songs, some hip hop influences and a fantastic (live) voice. Very good debut album with lyrics recognizable to millions of teenagers. Nice references to everyday things, but also groceries that hit you. The flat-wrenched A team is a good example of this. Simple instruments, a phenomenal voice and a beautiful text: pearl. With Lego House and This, Sheeran knows how to hit you, but with some more up-tempo songs like You Need Me, I Do not Need You and The City, he'll show him more than that red singer with that girl number.

A great album by an extremely talented artist and songwriter. Sheeran's album is different to many others as his songs range from the gentle 'A Team' to the upbeat, hip-hop 'You need me.' The lyrics communicate real meaning, which for me makes the album a worthwhile purchase. I look forward to his future work.

Yes I am a fan of this!! "The A Team" great simple melody with easy to understand lyrics. Sweet sweet song! "drunk" talking of a night out with friends and inebriation (did i spell that right?) "U N I " Great title for a song along with a sweet story of hope for future love. Very romantic! Trac "Grade 8" who does notg remember that simpler time of jounior high and swirlees! "wake me up inside" please somebody wake me up inside after hearing this song i am reminded that i have this dewsire inside of myself! "Small lump" what a great song! A sweet story of overcoming the various obsticles in life that religilously get thrown at us!Finale thought "this city " great dance beat and upbeat tempo. Love this song ! what great writing put with awesome melody!ONE LOVE Red Rene

It’s FINALLY here! Fans of Ed Sheeran have been eagerly awaiting this for a long time, which means it has an awful lot to live up to. Ed Sheeran has already had incredible success this year, his first single (the A team) shot straight to the number one position in the UK charts. This is no ‘beginners luck’ success though. Ed has been working hard pouring his own money into his music for a long time now; his success is thoroughly deserved. The album starts with the highly acclaimed A team a brilliant acoustic single that is accompanied by his stunning vocals. Other strong tracks on the album include U.N.I, Lego house and ‘You Need Me I Don’t Need You’ – a Hip-Hop/R&B/Acoustic track in which he raps to a brilliant acoustic hip hop beat.
If you’re looking for a new sound and some great new music then this album is a must. MP3 Caprice have also added his first two singles to their collection which can be found here: The A Team and You Need Me I Don’t Need You

Both have some great remix versions as well as with appearances from Wretch 32 & Devlin (If you needed proof that this is proper Hip Hop!).

A great first album from a potential up and coming star…
