So I just heard this album yesterday for the first time and it blew my mind. It's been a few years since I heard an album that made me literally feel like I didn't know what was gonna happen next. This album is excellent in that it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was listening to it. It is dark and ethereal in a way that most albums fail to be. This really got me thinking about how and why I listen to music.
It's hard to pick a favorite track but violence would have to be it if I had to pick. It's honestly a banger where I was not expecting to find one. The beat is primal and savage and the bass is skull rattling. It doesn't even follow the path of a typical edm drop. It's actually kinda scary and beautiful and I've never heard anything quite like it. But this album is crazy and it has in some ways restored my faith in music because it shows me that there is still unfiltered raw creativity out there
