This is a solid "best of" album. It may not contain all of their greatest hits, but it does contain many of them.
My personal favorites songs are "Reinventing Your Exit," "Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear," and "A Divine Eradication." "Reinventing Your Exit" is catchy and heavy at the same time, one of their best. "Too Bright to See, Too Loud to Hear" is slowed down a lot from most of their songs, but it does a great job of capturing the overall emotion of the band. "A Divine Eradication" is very powerful and moving, seemingly sweeping you with the music.
As for the other songs- they're heavy, they're loud, they're in your face Hardcore/Emo/Sreamo.
If you want a place to start with Underoath, or you just want an overview of the band, you cannot go wrong with 'Icon.'
