In God We Trustby Stryper

Stryper's "In God We Trust" is arguably the highlight of their career! The songs are groovy, bass is thumping, and the guitars are screaming. The follow up to "To Hell With The Devil" is slightly more commercialized than the previous album but still showcases everything Stryper has to offer. From beginning to end, "In God We Trust" gets all Christian (also a lot of regular) metalheads fist swinging in the air. The big tracks to watch for are "In God We Trust", "Always There For You", "The Writings On The Wall", & "Lonely". All of these songs have terrific solos from the fast saw-like riff of "The Writings On The Wall" to the slow-paced "Lonely". Only Stryper can pull off dual part solos like clockwork! For an early 90's metalhead, this was pretty much it for christian metal!

Stryper released this after much sucess from THWTd, and this album almost is like a part 2 of it. I love the recording but some found it to pop metal sounding. Always there for you , I believe in you , keep the fire burning are amoung some of the great hits here!!
