Never been a fan of Steven Tyler, so take that into consideration when I say I don't know why "It Feels So Good" was ever released. There is nothing original in the lyrics or the sound and I can't reach the off button fast enough when it comes on the radio, lol. It feels, not so good, but like a faded and poor attempt for a former rock star to get into the current pop charts. If you're already a fan of Steven Tyler that's about the only attraction to this song I can see, not much here for new listeners. One star in lieu of a zero option. And no, I don't watch American Idol either.
Steven Tyler makes a fast, catchy return to the world of music with "(It) Feels So Good". A mixture of rock and pop, it gets you pumped up with its rythmic beat and raw vocals. It's far from the finest track of the past year, but it's a good return to form for Tyler and it's a good choice for a motivating running playlist or to get a party started. Fans of Steven Tyler definitely won't be disappointed and for anyone else, I recommend listening to the preview first before choosing to get it.
