Justin’s latest album. He really tried too hard to go back to his roots here. Justin Bieber, as we all know, started out on YouTube making acoustic cover songs on his acoustic guitar. Two famous artists and producers, Usher and Justin Timberlake, got ahold of him. Justin thought that he would be more successful with Usher, but did not think about the long term advantages with Timberlake. Either way, he got famous overnight. The girls loved his cheesy ballads with repetitive lyrics (Baby Chorus Lyrics: Baby, baby, baby ohhh, Like baby, baby, baby noo, Like baby, baby, baby ohh, I thought you’d always be mine, mine; (repeat) Baby, baby, baby ohh, Like baby, baby, baby noo, like baby, baby, baby, ohh, I thought you’d always be mine, mine) and loved his appearance. He released two EPs meant to be as a two part full studio album (he wanted money immediately, it seems), and that is it in addition to the remix album My Worlds Acoustic. The remix album was only sold at Wal-Mart stores and remixed nine songs from the first two EPs and his new single, Pray, his latest single. He seems to be trying too hard here to go back to his roots in his 2008 days. All he was doing was playing acoustic guitar in his room and filming it. He had no idea that he would become the star that he is today. When signed by Usher to Island Records, he left that all behind. He had a new sound that the girls just loved. Just emotionless, groveless beats played very badly. The love songs are clichéd, and Justin doesn’t seem like he really means the songs that he writes about. Guitar player Joe Satriani, although writing instrumentals, is one of the most emotional musicians today. He can get you underwater or soaring through space or in love. He is full of emotion. Justin doesn’t have anything like that. It is -the one thing that he lacks (next to singing ability—autotune). Shitty album altogether that I do not recommend at all.
