This has been a personal favorite album of mine since it first came out. This album is minimalist but also full of energy and emotion. It also contains some of the best and most captivating musical performances from Sampha. This album is not typical in the sense that it doesn't really rely on what most people would consider normal musical ideas. But it is incredibly danceable and contains some of the most memorable and catchy melodies from the future garage movement. It is only bested by the melodic material from disclosures settle. This is an album that embodies the flavors of future garage and minimalism in a way that many of its contemporaries failed to accomplish.
