This is obviously a lot different from what Owl City has done before, and overall I'd say it's pretty good. Shooting Star is definitely my favorite from the album. I think it was cool to see Owl City change things up a little on these songs. And I'm glad he did some songs more similar to his other work, like Take It All Away, and Dementia, which reminded me of Deer In The Headlights. That being said, I really hope his upcoming album is a lot different from this. It was neat to see him do some more upbeat songs, but nothing beats the mellow, dreamy sound and creative lyrics of his other songs. I think all of Owl City's fans would like to see him go back to the Ocean Eyes sound that made him so popular in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I still thought this EP was good, but let's all hope Owl City doesn't turn to dance pop.
