starting off with the fusion jazz infused track "Angel", Jose James interjects confidence with saucy attitude over a funky, crunchy and upbeat tune. revolving around the idea of love, lust, lost and luxury. This album starts you off with a strong promise of excellent production and heartfelt story telling. Although the entire album is full of hits and shining highlights, one stand out track that rings to me personally is the song entitled "Without U". I vibe with this track because it steers away from the jazz element the rest of the album holds just a little, hitting you with a fretting pop contrast, without taking it where most pop songs fail. Jose James voice is strong and his message is potent. This album is def worth a listen through. Next up, No Beginning No End.
