A F I 's New album is a bit different than what I have become accustomed to. The sound is a little bit more haunting and has a bit of a classic 80's sound. 17 crimes does have a bit of a traditional AFI sound while at the same time still seemingly new. Rewind in my opinion is a completely new sound, it's great because all of the instruments are very clear easy to identify and quite enjoyable. The album has high highs and low lows and really lends itself to an emotional journey. Probably not my favorite album but definitely something to suit almost any mood.
