Well established country rock group Poco really struck gold with this record in 1977. After longtime drummer/vocalist George Grantham & bassist/vocalist Timothy B. Schmit left the band in 1976, guitarists/vocalists Rusty Young & Paul Cotton almost retired the Poco name and started fresh. Apparently after hearing some great demos, ABC Records persuaded them to continue as Poco with a new British rhythm section in Charlie Harrison & Steve Chapman. After the release of "Legend", included songs like Cotton's "Heart Of The Night" and Young's "Crazy Love" suddenly became the band's biggest hits. There really are even greater songs on the LP, such as "Spellbound", "Little Darlin' & "Boomerang". A fantastic production really help make this record shine. A must buy for any music lover of the 1970's!
