My daughter and I watched the movie together and we both really enjoyed it. The music is upbeat and fun. The song "More than a band" was really cute. My daughter really loved "She's So Gone" she said that the song really inspired her. The cast is very talented and overall was very good quality for Disney Channel. Even if you didn't like the movie the songs are still enjoyable. However this is along the lines of High School Musical the cast is better. My daughter does blast her music very loudly and plays the songs over and over again while at times this can become very annoying this album I don't mind.
If you have watched the movie then you should get the soundtrack. Great collection of songs, kinda along the lines of Camp Rock or High School Musical. In Disney form the Cd is sure to please those who enjoyed the movie and want to relive the music from it! Great to see it here!!!
My two daughters loved the movie so I had to get them the soundtrack too. Not bad. It's upbeat, positive and empowering to kids and it doesn't make my ears bleed. If you have kids that love to listen to music in the car or blast it on their stereos at home, you could do alot worse. I reccomend it to parents and kids.
