Everything on this album sounds new and fresh- YET, you KNOW it's Goldfrapp. She has evolved over the years from quirky to electronic, to almost folky at times. This album is no exception. While it retains an electronic feel, it's darker/heavier, and more chill evoking than some of her previous work. It can almost feel haunting and relaxing, simultaneously. Overall, her sound is unique, like no other artist I have heard. You remember her sound, her voice. "Anymore" is definitely one of my favorites, but I encourage you to listen through to the very end, as the album closes with the haunting and beautiful "Ocean". This may be one of my favorite Goldfrapp albums, yet!
