"The Holographic Principle" seems like a continuation of their previous fantastic release "The Quantum Enigma". It has all elements of that album: Huge choruses, Big Orchestra, great operatic singing, but unfortunately there is a lot of growling vocals almost in every song which become annoying and disfigurate the songs. The songs could do well without them. If it weren't for the growls it would be a five star album. This album is also a lot heavier and more aggresive, sometimes sounding a tad death metal. Best songs are the instrumental "Eidola", their classic sounding "Edge Of The Blade", the aggresive "A Phantasmic Parade", the captivating and delicate "Once Upon a Nightmare", and the middle eastern sounding "Dancing In a Hurricane" The epic title song is also worth noting. A well stuctured song. The production again is top notch and the sound is very clear and well mixed.
